Mrs. Sue Andrews, age 67, of 3286 Holmes Cannery Road in Tennille died Friday evening August 24, 2012 at her residence following an extended illness. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, August 27th, in the Washington Memorial Gardens Cemetery near Sandersville. Rev. Danny Thomas and Rev. Gary Mimbs will officiate. Pallbearers will be Caroll Chambers, Thomas Lovett, Carwin Avant, Larry Smith, Bob West, Donald Farmer, David Hooks, Randy Jackson, Robbie Lane and Mark Stanley.
Mrs. Andrews was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, the daughter of the late Ben Richard Smith, Jr. and the late Katherine Mae Boyd Smith. She was a graduate of Middle Georgia College and Massey Business College. She was a retired employee of the Thiele Kaolin Company and she was a real estate broker. Mrs. Andrews was a member of the Sisters Baptist Church.
Survivors are her husband: Windell Andrews of Tennille; a daughter, Michele Andrews Durden and her husband Chris of Sandersville; a son, Keith Andrews and his wife Tina of Sandersville; two grandchildren, Kristin Durden and Dylan Andrews; two brothers, Ricky Smith and his wife Deborah and Ben Smith all of Sandersville.
The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 3:00 until 5:00 P.M. on Sunday afternoon.
May and Smith Funeral Directors in Sandersville is in charge of the arrangements.
