Mrs. Sue M. Brantley, age 66, of Harrison, died Friday, January 15, 2010. Local services will be held on Wednesday evening at 6 pm at the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 5pm until the hour of service and also at the conclusion of the service. Rev. Marty Deal will officiate. Services will be held in Flowery Branch on Saturday at 2:00pm at the Memorial Park Funeral Home South with visitation on Friday from 6 to 8pm.
Mrs. Brantley was born in Forsyth County the daughter of the late Athens John Mullinax Sr. and the late Permelia Frances Bowman Mullinax. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. Mrs. Brantley was a long time resident of Flowery Branch before moving to Harrison.
Survivors are her husband, Floyd Brantley of Harrison, children, Glenn W. Brantley (Sandra) of Homer, Gene W. Brantley and Rickey Brantley (Bree) all of Tennille, Gail B. McDougal (David) of Buford, Terrell Brantley (Geanna) of Irwinton, Cheryl B. Raulerson (Jimmy) of Tennille and Elaine B. Kilby (Reggie) of Flowery Branch, 22 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, sister, Carolyn Grindle of Buford and brothers A.J. Mullinax Jr. and Ralph Mullinax both of Buford and John Mullinax of Commerce.
May and Smith Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
