Mrs. Thelma Page Brown, age 89, of 2299 Ridge Road in Sandersville died Tuesday February 3 in the Heritage Inn in Sandersville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday February 7 in the Chapel of May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville. The Rev. Jeff Summers, Rev. Brian Leverett and Rev. Eddie Corne will officiate with burial in the Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Cecil Brown, Jr., Garnet Brown, Michael Corne, Art Brown, Alan Brown, Bubba Bratcher and Josh Durden and Sam Bratcher.
Mrs. Brown was a native and life long resident of Washington County, the daughter of the late Isaac Solomon Page and the late Mary Tanner Page. She was the wife of the late Pete Fair Brown, Sr. Mrs. Brown was a homemaker and a member of the Sisters Baptist Church. She was predeceased by son, Pete Fair Brown, Jr., a grandson, Greg Brown, a sister, Annie Mary Brown and two brothers, Jack Page and Luther Page.
Survivors are her children, Faye Brown Burden of North Augusta, Algie W. Brown, Cecil E. Brown, Sr., Harville D. Brown and Sarah B. Bratcher all of Sandersville, Mac A. Brown of Columbia, SC, and Randy V. Brown of Fort Collins, CO, three sisters, Fannie Brown, Lois Morgan and Dezona Etheridge all of Macon, a brother in law, Champ Etheridge of Macon.
May and Smith Funeral Directors in Sandersville is in charge of the arrangements.
