Thomas Gilmer Bateman, Jr

Mr. Thomas Gilmer Bateman, Jr. , age 58, of Wrightsville died on Sunday October 23, 2022.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 27th, 2022 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, with burial in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.  Reverend Jimmy Harris will officiate.

Pallbearers will be Bruce Joiner, Aaron Price, Wesley Price, Tim Brown, Will Wommack, Vince Tanner and Brad May.

Mr. Bateman was a native of Washington County, the son of the late Thomas Gilmer Bateman, Sr. and the late Linda Kay Page Bateman.  He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was a graduate of Washington County High school.

Survivors are his sister, Renee Suzette Bateman Brown and her husband Casey of Woodstock; his brothers, Bradley Page Bateman and his wife Kasey of Queensbury, NY and Adam Brian Bateman and his wife Tiffany of Brookline, NH; nieces and nephews, Paul Brown, Katie Brown, Marin Bateman, Liam Bateman, Marshall Bateman, Lyla Bateman, Ellison Bateman and Addilyn Bateman.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday October 26 ^th , 2022, at May and Smith Funeral Directors in Sandersville, from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
