Thomas Jay Daniel

Thomas Jay Daniel, age 53, of Sandersville, died Friday, September 16, 2016. A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 21st at 11:00 a.m. at Sisters Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Gary Mimbs and Reverend Jason Loggins will officiate.

Jay was reared in Sandersville and after graduating high school, served in the US Marine Corps. Jay was a graduate of South Georgia Technical College where he became a welder by trade and then worked in construction. He enjoyed an artistic ability to create things out of most any material and was a master at repairing and reusing broken items. Jay is predeceased by his father, Thomas Lamar Daniel.

Survivors include: his mother, Iola Josey Daniel of Sandersville and numerous cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
