Thomas Eugene Seipp

Mr. Thomas Eugene Seipp, age 61, of Sandersville, died on Monday, July 1, 2019 in an Augusta hospital following an extended illness. A memorial service for Mr. Seipp will be held on Thursday, July 11 at 2:00 P.M. in May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sandersville.  Reverend Jerry Pickard will officiate.

Mr. Seipp was born on September 28, 1957 in Denver, Colorado.  He married Linda Elliott and moved to Mattawan Michigan.  There he met Chris Gibbie and came to Sandersville.  Many of his fondest memories were with his daughter Katie, her husband Justin and his five grandchildren.  Many good times were had with his best friend Terri Wright, whom he loved dearly. Also, special thanks for countless outings and assistance to Jim and Diane Davie and thanks to Ronnie Latimer for all he did for Tom and his wonderful caregivers, Mona and Michelle.  Thomas loved Sandersville and requested his ashes remain here.

Survivors are his daughter, Katie Epps and her husband Justin of Macon; mother, Catherine Seipp of Denver, Colorado; five grandchildren, Tyler Rugg, Natalie Epps, Leah Epps, Morgan Epps and Ariana Epps; brothers, Steven Seipp of Brighton, Colorado and Paul Seipp of Arvado, Colorado.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service.
