Thomas Jesse Tanner

Mr. Thomas Jesse Tanner, age 65, of South Indian Trail, Sandersville, died Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at his residence. A graveside funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th at 2:00 p.m. at the Washington County Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Tripp Hodges officiating.
Mr. Tanner was a native of Washington County the son of the late Buren Tanner and the late Lucille Dolly Crawford Tanner. He was a lifelong farmer.
Survivors are; his wife Gayline Owensby Tanner of Sandersville, children, Carla T. Vasile of Perry, Joseph Tanner and his wife Melissa of Gray, Stephanie T. Gooch and her husband Daniel of Gainesville, and Brittany Tanner of Sandersville, grandchildren, Taylor Vasile, Tanner Vasile, Kaitlin Gooch, and Gunner Gooch, and brothers, Albert Tanner and his wife Betsy of Sparta, Tyree Tanner and his wife Carol, Bunion Tanner and his wife Mildred and Vunion Tanner all of Milledgeville.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until noon at the May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville.
