Thomas Eugene Veal, Jr.

Mr. Thomas Eugene Veal, Jr., age 64, of Sandersville died at his residence.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 14th, in the Brownwood Cemetery in Sandersville. Marlon Lastinger, local minister, will officiate.

Mr. Veal was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, the son of the late Thomas Eugene Veal, Sr. and the late Lora Frazier Veal. He was the husband of the late Nonie Rebecca Corbett Veal. He was a retired packing and shipping supervisor for Burgess Pigment Company with 39 years of service. Mr. Veal was a member of the Ohoopee Baptist Church and was a former Lieutenant with the Sandersville Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors are: his daughter, Andrea Rebecca (Cissy) Duncan and her husband Burt of Lake City, Florida; his son, Thomas E. Veal III and his wife Patti of Sandersville; four grandchildren, Daulton Thomas Veal, Rebecca Elaine Duncan, Corbett Wylie Duncan and Lora Grace Duncan; three brothers, Sandy Veal and his wife Mary Kay of Sandersville, Jay Veal and his wife Annette of North Augusta and Joey Veal and his wife Robyn of Evans.

The family will be at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Sandy Veal, 108 Richmond Street, in Sandersville.
