Thomas Allen Wiggins, Jr.

Mr. Thomas Allen Wiggins, Jr., age 63, of Sandersville died Monday, September 09, 2013 at the Washington Regional Medical Center in Sandersville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, September 12th, in the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sandersville with burial in the Brownwood Cemetery. Rev. Thomas Allen Wiggins III and Anne Wiggins Brooker will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Greg Wiley, Billy Brown, Stacey Prince, Aubrey Wiggins, Charles lee, Emory Young, Charles Young and Howard Veal.

Mr. Wiggins was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, the son of the late Major Thomas Allen Wiggins, Sr. and the late Dorothy Nell Hodges Wiggins. He was a retired lab technician for J. M. Huber Company. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Sandersville. Mr. Wiggins was a former Jaycee and served as a volunteer fireman for the Sandersville Fire Department.

Survivors are his wife, Kay Garner Wiggins of Sandersville; a daughter, Anne Wiggins Brooker and her husband David of Sandersville; three sons, Thomas Allen Wiggins III and his wife Rhonda Lynn of Bartow, Michael Brian Wiggins of Warthen and James Christopher Wiggins of Gainesville; nine grandchildren, Caleb Brooker, Katie Brooker, Cannon Brooker, Caleb Wiggins, Alayna Wiggins, Tori Wiggins, Michael Wiggins, Nicki Wiggins and Christopher Wiggins; three sisters, Jonette Wiggins Bell and her husband Billy of Thomson, Lyn Wiggins Wright of Sandersville and Donna Wiggins McNair and her husband Joe of Tennille; and a brother, Stan W. Wiggins and his wife Kelli of Sandersville.

The family will receive friends at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. David Brooker, 255 North Harris Street in Sandersville from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday.
