Tom Willard Miller

Mr. Tom Willard Miller, age 68, of Sandersville, died on Saturday night, November 20th, 2015 in the Georgia Regents Hospital in Augusta.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 24, in the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sandersville. Graveside services will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday in the Pleasant Springs Baptist Church Cemetery at Minter, Georgia.

Mr. Miller was a native of Laurens County, the son of the late Thomas Watson Miller and the late Alma White Miller. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Hattie Mae Usry, Polly Mae Beasley, James L. Miller and Charlie Richard Sherman Miller. Mr. Miller was an equipment operator for Billy Hooks Construction Company and a former employee of Norfolk Southern Railroad.

Survivors are his wife, Geraldine Eubanks Miller, two daughters, Tammy Lee Miller Purdee and her husband John Hall of East Dublin, and Talisa Faye Miller Williams and her husband Earl of Winslow, Indiana, a step daughter, Karen Renee Covington Daniel and her husband Mel of Sandersville and a step son, Danny Franklin Covington of Newnan, twenty grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren, two sisters, Mattie Mae Johnson of Dublin and Cherry Ann Graham and her husband John of Rockledge, a brother, Jimmy Miller and his wife Darlene of Tacoma, Washington.

The family will receive friends at the May & Smith Funeral Home from 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. on Monday, November 23, 2015.
