Tony Amerson

Mr. Tony Amerson, age 52, of Warner Robins, Georgia died Saturday, October 22, 2011 in the Houston Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 26th, at 2:00 P.M. in the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sandersville with burial in the Amerson Family Cemetery. The Rev. Burt Parker will officiate. Pallbearers will be Randy Lemmond, Don Roundtree, Ricky Beal, Patrick Beal, Bryan Dukes and Craig Hendricks.

Mr. Amerson was a native and lifelong resident of Houston County. He was a graduate of Warner Robins High School and an Eagle Scout. Mr. Amerson was a Navy veteran and was a retired truck driver.

Survivors are his son, Calvin Eugene Amerson, his father and mother, Billy Amerson and Nancy Ivey Amerson of Warner Robins, a sister Cathy A. Settle of Middleburg, FL.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home from 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday until the hour of service.
