Troy Lee Flury

Mr. Troy Lee Flury, age 46, of Oconee died on Saturday morning, March 21, 2015 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P. M. Tuesday, March 24th, in the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Sandersville with burial in the Bay Springs Cemetery in Oconee. The Reverend Phil Wallace will officiate. Pallbearers will be officers of the Georgia State Patrol.

Mr. Flury was a native of Baldwin County, Georgia , the son of the late Robert Fulton Flury. He was a communications officer and secretary for the Georgia State Patrol. Mr. Flury attended the Oconee Church of God.

Survivors are his wife, Geri Brantley of Oconee; his mother, Janice Moran Lowery, his step-father, Raymond Lowery of Milledgeville; two brothers, Sam Flury and his wife Amy of Milledgeville, and William C. Flury and his wife Stacey of Milledgeville; and nieces, April F. Screws and her husband Michael, Ashley Flury and Makayla Flury.

The family will be at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Andy Brantley, Highway 272 in Oconee and will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday until the hour of service.
