Mr. Val Mix of 525 Lee Street in Sandersville died Thursday April 5.

Mr. Mix was a retired insurance agent and former owner of Rogers and Mix Insurance Agency. He was a combat veteran of World War II having served in the United States Air Force. Mr. Mix was a member of the Sandersville United Methodist Church and a longtime member of the Sandersville Rotary Club.

Survivors are his wife, Betty R. Mix of Sandersville and a brother, Louis Paul Mix of Ft. Worth Texas.

There will be no visitation. The family requests no flowers, no food but would be grateful for your prayers.
Memorials may be made to the Sandersville United Methodist Church, any animal charity or the Salvation Army.
