Mrs. Vicki Davis-Miguel, age 63, of Waldorf Maryland, died Monday, April 29, 2019 after an extended illness. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, May 31st at 11:00 a.m. in the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel. The family will gather at 10:00 a.m. prior to the the service.
Vicki was born in Sandersville July 13, 1955 and reared in both Washington County and Laurens County where she graduated from Dublin High School. She attended Georgia College and State University and became a Registered Nurse. Vicki lived in Florida and North Carolina where she raised her family, and she later worked as a travel nurse. She loved cooking and gardening. Her son Matthew Robert Oglesby and her father Brigadier General Robert E. Davis Jr.. her sister, Jacki D. Sanders, and nephews Joel Albert Sanders and John Ashley Sanders all predecease her.
Survivors are her husband Ernest J. Miguel of Waldorf, MD., sons, Chadwick Woody Collins and his wife Vicki, Kelly Collins and his wife Valerie, all of Warthen, and Kevin Oglesby of Watkinsville, stepchildren, Ernest Miguel III of Waldorf MD., and Elizabeth A Miguel of Baltimore MD, grandchildren, Cullen Collins, Jackson Collins, Jasmine Collins, Natalie Collins, Layla Oglesby and Wyatt Oglesby, her mother, Mary Ellen Powell Davis of Tennille and siblings, Bob Davis and his wife Nancy of Brookland, Arkansas, and Traci Dominy and her husband Tony of Sandersville.
