Vincent Owen Robinson Sr.

Mr. Vincent Owen “Vince” Robinson Sr., age 61, of Deepstep, died Saturday, October 27, 2018 at his residence.  A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 30 ^th at 3:00 p.m. at Kendall Heights Church of God with burial in Washington County Memorial Gardens.  Reverend Bobby Williford and Reverend Stacey Williford will officiate.  Pallbearers will be Al Andrews, Randy Hall, Ryan Hood, Ricky Sheppard, Wesley Sheppard, Dennis Robinson Jr., Paul Hines and Mike Corbett.

Vince was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, the son of the late Owen Elisha Robinson and the late Ruby Annette Sheppard Robinson.  He spent most of his working career as a mechanic formerly working for Green Jones Automotive Shop, Dorman Dodge and C.T. Harris Inc.  Vince currently worked for Southeastern Performance Minerals.  He attended Kendall Heights Church of God.  Some of Vince’s greatest joy came through creating and restoring automobiles, especially “hotrods”.

Survivors include, his wife Deborah L. Robinson; children, Vincent Owen “Vinnie” Robinson Jr. and his wife Anna, Ralph Elisha “Eli” Robinson and Destiny Faith Robinson all of Deepstep; granddaughter, Piper Grace Robinson; brother, Dennis Robinson and his wife Grace of Dearing; and nieces and nephews.

The family will be at the residence of Eli Robinson on Veal Road in Deepstep and they will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville.
