Virginia Jones Bryan

Ms. Virginia Jones Bryan, age 89, of Macon died Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at the Grey Health and Rehab Center in Grey following an extended illness. Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 20th at 11:00 am at the White Oak Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. Dewey Henderson will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the Church Social Hall.

Ms. Bryan was a native of Washington County the daughter of the late Arthur Eugene Jones and the late Emma Clyde Amerson. She was reared in Washington County before she enlisted in the US Army and served in WWII. Mrs. Bryan retired from the Goodwill Nursing Home in Macon before moving back to Tennille where she was a member of the White Oak Methodist Church. She is predeceased by her husband Charles Wesley Bryan and nephews Jeffrey Hunt Holloman and Patrick Arthur Garrett.

Survivors are her sister Christine Holloman (Rolfe) of Macon, a nephew Jay Holloman (Rhonda) also of Macon, a Niece Tina Upton (Bill) of Byron, a great niece Kelby Holloman and her fiancé Alex Bellante and a great nephew Tristan Holloman (Amberly).
