Virginia Riley Register

Virginia Kay Riley Register, age 56, of Davisboro, died Thursday, February 26, 2009 at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be held on Monday, March 2nd at 2:00pm at the Davisboro City Cemetery. Rev. Chad Watkins will officiate.

Mrs. Register was born in Wood County West Virginia the daughter of the late Gilbert Riley and the late Hazel Williams Presley. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. Virginia was a US Army Veteran.

Survivors are her husband Jack A. Register Sr. of Davisboro, sons, James Thomas Register of Parkersburg West Virginia, and Jack A. Register A. Register II of Greensboro NC, daughters, Wendy Register and Mindy Register Pritt both of Spokane WA., four grandchildren, sisters Frances Riley of Parkersburg West VA., Susan Lipscomb of Cutler OH., and Barbara Dignus of Lake West VA., her brother John Riley of Parkersburg West VA., and her mother-in-law Frances Register of Davisboro.

The family will be at the Register residence in Davisboro and will receive friends Sunday from 5 to 7pm at the May and Smith Funeral Home, 1119 Riddleville Road, Sandersville.
