Virginia Edmonds Turner

Virginia Edmonds Turner, age 83, of Sandersville, died Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Washington County Regional Medical Center Extended Care Facility.   A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Virginia was born in Borger, Hutchinson County, Texas, to the late Cline Azel Edmonds and Flora Anna Love.   She obtained her bachelor’s degree in business education from the University of Texas, and worked as an antiques dealer. While in retirement in Sandersville, she attended Sandersville United Methodist Church.

Survivors are: a daughter, Catherine Pope and her husband Andre, of Tallahassee, Florida, and a son, Rex Turner of Atlanta, Georgia; grandsons, Andrew Turner Pope and Harrison Calvin Pope, both of Tallahassee, Florida; and a niece, Stephanie Sullivan and her husband Doug, of Amarillo, Texas.
