W. Lawrence Langham

Mr. W. Lawrence Langham, age 72, of Tennille, died Saturday, June 13, 2009. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 16th, at 2:00pm at the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel.

Mr. Langham was born in Warren County the son of the late Samuel Lee Langham and the late Mary Lou McCoy Langham. He was the former owner/operator of Langham Logging Inc. Mr. Langham was a former member of the Civitan Club, the Moose Lodge and the Hamilton Masonic Lodge.

He is survived by his soul mate and the mother of his children Beatrice Howell of Eatonton, children, Marie L. Blackmore (John) of Crystal Lake Illinois, Michael Lawrence Langham (Debbie) of Gray, Kathy Seagars Raines of Sandersville and Leigh Anne Johnson also of Eatonton, grandchildren,Pheobe Roberson, Johnathon Blackmore, Jamie Langham, Jessie Langham, Allena Beall, Lawren Raines, Ashton Davis, and Dylan Johnson, eight great grandchildren, sisters Carolyn Wilkerson and Dorothy Thigpen both of Thomson and Betty Langham of Pitts, and brothers Linton Langham of Mitchell and Tim Langham of Conyers.

The family will receive friends Tuesday following the memorial service at the funeral home.
