Wallace Seaborn Wilkes

Mr. Wallace Seaborn Wilkes, age 75, of 1572 Buckeye Road in Tennille died Monday, September 13, at his residence following an extended illness.

Private graveside services will be held on Thursday.

Mr. Wilkes was a native of DeKalb County, Georgia, the son of the late Wallace Edison Wilkes and the late Mary Moore Flemming Wilkes. He was a retired truck driver and was formerly employed with Howard Sheppard Inc. Mr. Wilkes was a Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Survivors are his wife, Betty Jean Stokes Wilkes of Tennille, a son, Michael Wilkes of Atlanta, a daughter Linda Crockett of Athens, Tennessee, three stepchildren, Diane M. Sheppard of Sandersville, Calvin S. Maye of Silver, N.C. and David B. Maye of Warner Robins.
