Walter Clinton "Jr" Osborne

Walter Clinton “Jr” Osborne, age 72, of Tennille, died Wednesday, April 11, 2012. A memorial service will be held on Friday at 2:00pm at the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Bobby Williford will officiate.

Mr. Osborne was born in Washington County the son of the late Walter Clinton Osborne, Sr. and the late Estelle Sellers Perdue. He worked as a truck driver and had been formerly employed by Thiele Kaolin Company. Mr. Osborne was raised in the White Oak Church and served in the Georgia National Guard. He is predeceased by his daughter Judy Osborne Thomas.

Survivors are his children, Clint Osborne (Linda) of Tennille, Ronald Osborne (Jeannie) of Harrison, Glen Osborne ( Sharon ) of Tennille, Peggy O. Smith of Augusta, Jamie Osborne (Dawn) of Savannah , Tasha O. Burkette (Kendall) of Sandersville, and James Osborne of Sandersville; sisters, Oneita Bakers (Bowdry) of Milledgeville and Susie Waters (Mandel) of Tennille; 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

The family will be at the residence of Ronald and Jeannie Osborne in Harrison and they will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1pm Until the Hour of Service.
