Mr. Warren Allen Reynolds, age 68, of Hwy. 242, Sandersville, passed away at his residence on Thursday, June 13, 2024. A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, June 29th at 11:00 a.m. at the Pat Pulliam residence, 6238 Hwy 15 South, Tennille.
Allen was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, son of the late Warren Franklin Reynolds and Sara Walden Reynolds. He attended Washington County Public schools and began his working career as a meat cutter at Wilkes Curb Market. Later, Allen worked in Kaolin production for Anglo and ECCI. For many years he worked at Henson's Bait and Tackle, prior to his last place of employment, as a tile installer, with Larry Banks. Allen was a talented mechanic and often worked on race cars, motorcycles and go carts. He loved to fish and was known by many for his friendly disposition and for offering you an honest opinion.
Survivors include his sister, Lynn Thrift and her husband Buddy of Riddleville; sister-in-law, Pat Pulliam and her husband Glenn of Tennille; nephew, Eric Reynolds; nieces, Casey Weymouth and her husband Fred and Jessica Johnson and her husband Rob; great nephew and nieces, Coleman Hierholzer, Reagan Reynolds, Gia Reynolds, Ava Johnson, Natalie Johnson and Paisley Clayton; and cousins, Buford Cumming and Mark Cummings. In addition to his parents, Allen is predeceased by his brother, Don E. Reynolds and his great niece Kaitlyn Johnson.
