Wayne Brown

Mr. Wayne Brown, age 50, of Sandersville, formerly of Idabel Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2009 at the Washington County Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Friday May 22nd at 2:00pm at the Conley-White Funeral Home Chapel in Idabel with burial in the Canfield Cemetery.

Wayne was a native of Idabel where he worked for the City of Idabel for 26 years serving as supervisor of Sanitation and also serving as a volunteer fireman. He loved hunting, fishing, and was an avid sports fan.

Survivors are his fiancee Annie E. Hartley of Sandersville, his mother, Wanda Lewis of Idabel, children, Amy Beal (Clifton) of New Boston TX., Tamara Dorries (Billy) of Holly Creek OK., Brandon Stout (Chanel) of Shreveport LA, grandchildren, Madison Beal, Trevor Layne Beal, Katlyn Dorries and Dylan Alan Dorries, brothers Roy Brown (Karen) and Virgil Lewis both of Idabel and sisters Wanda Burke of Edabel and Eva Lewis of Baton Rouge LA.

May and Smith Funeral Directors, of Sandersville, is in charge of local arrangements.
