Wayne A Waters

Mr. Wayne A. Waters, age 78, of Davisboro passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Pruitt Nursing Home in Louisville following an extended illness. A graveside funeral service to celebrate his life will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. in the Wadley Cemetery in Wadley. Pastor Weston Williford will officiate.

Mr. Waters was the son of the late Clarence Waters and the late Essie Mae Mismer Waters. He loved working with his hands, especially building race car motors. Mr. Waters also enjoyed fishing and going out to eat with his wife of 48 years, Sandra. In addition to his parents, he is proceeded in death by his brother, Huston Waters.

Mr. Waters is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sandra Sheppard Waters; daughter, Jennifer Waters and her husband Eric Bloch of Texas; brother, Delane Waters and his wife Marie of Wadley; sister-in-law, Vicky Waters of Macon; nieces, Megan Waters, Meredith Waters, and Laurie Hutchins; and great nieces, Ava Cliatt, Chelsea Waters, and Bailey Hutchins.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 16, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until the hour of service at the graveside.
