Wesley Daniel Anderson was a lifelong Oconee resident. He attended school in Oconee, Tennille and graduated from Washington County High School. After a brief stint working in Atlanta, Danny returned home and began a long career in the Kaolin Industry. He began work with Engelhard and retired as a heavy equipment operator for BASF. Danny’s true passion and joy was fishing, from the Oconee River to his favorite place, Lake Sinclare. Danny was also a talented mechanic who enjoyed working on cars and making small engine repairs. In many ways he was a “jack of all trades” who could weld and do carpentry. Danny was a member of the Oconee Church of God where he met his bride of 53 years, Glenda. He is predeceased by his parents, Devayor T. and Bertha Caudill Anderson and brothers, Johnny Anderson and Mark Anderson.

Survivors include his wife Glenda Yates Anderson; daughters Donna Anderson Daniel and Danielle Anderson Garrett both of Tennille; grandchildren, Wesley Daniel, Ellis Mask, Cody Daniel, Colton Daniel, Keaton Garrett and Tanner Mask; and siblings, Mary Ann Bowers and her husband Sammy of Kathleen and David Anderson and his wife Pat of Plant City FL.

The family may be contacted at the Anderson residence in Oconee.
