Wilbur Glen Williford

Mr. Wilbur Glen Williford, age 57, of Sandersville, died Friday, November 29, 2013. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 2nd, at 2:00 p.m. at the White Oak Methodist Church with burial in the Church Cemetery. Reverends Bobby Williford, Stacey Williford and Dewey Henderson will officiate. Pallbearers will be Brice Marshall, Christopher Williford, Douglas Welch, Louis Dalton, Gerald Lord, Mike Brett and Chris Lanthripp.

Mr. Williford was a native of Washington County. He worked in the Washington County Board of Education facilities as an employee of Facilico and he was a former employee of the City of Sandersville. Wilbur was a member of the White Oak Methodist Church. He loved to hunt and fish.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra D. Trussell Williford; his daughter, Stephanie Williford Marshall and her husband Brice; his step-daughter Chris Trussell Dalton and her husband Louis all of Sandersville; grandchildren, Hunter Marshall, Carmen Marshall and Everlee Dalton; his mother, Francine Welch Wicker and her husband Jimmy of Sandersville; his father, J.W. Williford and his wife Anna of Thomson; his brother, Jay Williford and his wife Kim of Sandersville; nephews, Christopher Williford and Brandon Williford and his wife Jamie; his niece, Angel Williford Todd and her husband Thomas; and aunts and uncles.

The family will be at the residence of Jay and Kim Williford, 300 Rattle Snake Crossing, Sandersville and they will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at the May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville.
