Will Lawson

Mr. Will Lawson, age 61, of Davisboro, died Saturday, March 3, 2012 at his residence following an extended illness. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 6th at 2:00pm at the May and Smith Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Roger Holly will officiate.

Will was born in Madison County Tennessee the son of the late Willie Thomas Lawson and the late Mary Leona Jones Lawson. He was a long time resident of San Diego California where he worked as a millwright in the nuclear power industry. Since moving to Georgia in 2000, Will has enjoyed his love of fishing, hunting and camping.

Survivors are his wife, Jacque Lawson of Davisboro, son, Nic Lawson (Diane) of Seattle WA, granddaughter Jessica Lawson, father-in-law Don Colgan (Deanna) of Galva IL., mother-in-law Bonnie Norin of Neponset IL., brother, Jerry Lawson of Snellville, sisters Alice Lawson of Boise Idaho, Reita Byrd (Jerry) of Sandersville and Penny Hildebrand (Jamie) of Petal MS., and several nieces and nephews.

The family may be contacted at their residence and they will also receive friends following the memorial service at the Funeral Home.
