William Reese Jackson, Jr.

July 12, 1973 — December 28, 2020

Mr. William "Lil Bill" Reese Jackson, Jr., age 47, of Sandersville, died on Monday, December 28, 2020 at his residence.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 3 at White Oak Church with burial in White Oak Church Cemetery.  Reverend Melton Tyson and Mr. Alvin Rogers will officiate.  There will be a visitation at the church from 1:00 P.M. until the hour of service.  The family ask that a mask be worn during visitation and the service.  Pallbearers will be Chad Tanner, Shane Woods, Dustin Usry, Keith Jones, Chris Tanner, Ben Smith and Alvin Rogers.

Mr. Jackson was a lifelong resident of Washington County.  He was a retired operator for Imery’s Kaolin Company.  Mr. Jackson was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting.  He was a member of White Oak Church.

Survivors are his wife, Terri Cannon Jackson of Sandersville; daughter, Madison Taylor Jackson and her fiancé’ C. J. Smith of Sandersville; son, William Chance Jackson and his wife Ally Nicole of Sandersville; parents William Reese Jackson, Sr. and Jeanette Lord Jackson of Sandersville; brother, Paul Jackson and his wife Teresa of Sandersville; sister, Lynn Jackson Harris and her husband Eddie of Riddleville; and several nieces and nephews.

The family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Jackson children’s education fund, c/o George D. Warthen Bank, P.O. Box 637 Sandersville, Ga. 31082
