William O. Roberson

William O. Roberson, age 63, of Tennille passed away on Monday, March 16, 2026, in Augusta.

William was born and raised in Sandersville, son of the late Billy Ray Roberson and Mina Lee Smart Roberson. He attended Washington County Public Schools and began working at Millers Food Store at the age of 16. Willie continued working at Millers until it closed, as produce manager. Later Willie transitioned to the City of Sandersville, where he worked in the Sanitation Department. He loved good food and watching wrestling on TV. Most of all Willie loved being with family, especially nieces and nephews.

Survivors include siblings, Tony Roberson and his wife Charlene of Tennille and Myra Elaine Roberson Meeks of Milledgeville; nieces and nephews, Greg Roberson and his wife April and Audrey Roberson; great nieces and nephews, Corey Sellars, Kaleb Roberson, Kelsey Roberson, and Kaylee Roberson and great greats, Elijah Mixon and Everly Sellars.
