Wilmer Louie Josey

Mr. Wilmer Louie Josey, age 90, of Davisboro died on Thursday, February 26, 2015,
in the Heritage Inn of Sandersville following an extended illness. Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, February 28th, in the New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery near Riddleville. The Reverend M. D. Cabe will officiate.

Mr. Josey was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County, the son of the late Willis Evans Josey and the late Zelma Price Josey. He was preceded in death by a brother, Forrest Josey. Mr. Josey was a retired production supervisor for Thiele Kaolin Company. He was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church.

Survivors are his sister, Martha Lou Josey Woodard of Riddleville; two brothers, Ernest Lee Josey and his wife Dorothy of New Ellenton, SC and Alvin Josey and his wife Betty of Augusta; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at May and Smith Funeral Home in Sandersville from 11:00 until 12 Noon on Saturday and will receive friends at new Bethel Baptist Church from 1:30 P.M. until the hour of service.
