Mrs. James was born in White Plains, the daughter of the late William Jackson Holcomb and the late Foy Hulsey Holcomb. She was a 1959 graduate of Greensboro High School. Even in her off time, she could be found either working, raking in her yard or decorating the house for the different seasons. Mrs. James also enjoyed watching her Soaps, which she had her family record so she could catch up after a busy day on her mail route. Her greatest love in life was her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of Sandersville First Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Forace M. Daniel, Sr.; grandson, Matthew Poole; and sisters, Winnie Archer and Jackie Morgan.

Mrs. James is survived by her husband of 31 years, Keith James; daughter Angela Poole of Carnesville; sons, Forace M. Daniel, Jr. and Chet Daniel (Bethany) both of Sandersville; grandchildren, Brandon Poole, Kaitlyn Bennett, C.J. Daniel, Shelby Daniel, and Chase Daniel; and great grandchildren, Paisley, George, Elijah, Chloe, Dallas, Lane, Emeri, Serenity, and Jada.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Mrs. James’s memory to Brentwood School, P. O. Box 955, Sandersville, GA 31082.
